This is a large mural covering the whole of the north-west end of the City Library. It is a humourous dig at the plight of Iceland, pictured as a worn out boat named 'Motta & Dock', under attack from 'neighbouring countries' (Granda Landi) in the form of a dragon-headed green snake.
The main entrance to the library it at the junction of Tryggvagata and Grófin and it is necessary to walk north-west along Tryggvagata to the end of the building to see the mural.
This mural replaces one named 'ORDID ER FRJALST' (The Word Is Free) painted here some years ago and posted as a waymark by Metro2 on 29th June, 2014, Waymark Code: WMM0ZF. The Google Earth imagery dated July, 2013 shows this original mural.
