Windmill Windlust - Noordwolde NL - Windmills on Waymarking.com

Windlust is an octagonal windmill in Noordwolde from 1859. The mill has the function mill. In 1880 the mill was increased.

Since the early fifties, the mill was not used for grinding. The mill was owned by the family Timmerman until 1968, later owned by Foundation De Oosthoek. The mill was restored in 1961, but worked sporadically. Since 1976, the mill by volunteers kept running at almost every Saturday.

In early 2007 the mill was hit by storm damage, but soon restored.
