Great Bay Beach is a 1.4 km long fine white sand beach located right in the heart of Philipsburg in Sint Maarten.

The beach is accessed via a promenade that runs most of the way across its length. At the eastern end one can enjoy the view of cruise ships in port. This section of the beach located at the east of the Captain Hodge Wharf is also the busiest, being used by the majority of the cruisers.
The beach is mostly used for sunbathing and swimming; other activities are snorkeling, scuba diving and seadooing.
