This compass rose is a rusted iron sculpture. The four primary compass points are on a tilted mesh metal disk. The center point of the compass is a shaft of iron supported by two arches arising from the southern point. The cardinal compass points are arrows radiating out from a central disk around the central shaft. The coordinates of the piece are in raised letters on each side of the shaft. The entire piece could also function as a sun dial but it does not show the hours as separate figures.
