This is one of three memorials located on the Captain Hodge Wharf.

The Dutch inscription on the memorial reads:

"1940 Ter herdenking van onze gevallenen in the tweede wereldoorlog 1945"

Translation

"1940 In memory of our fallen soldiers during the Second World War 1945
(followed by the names of the fallen Netherlands Antilles soldiers)"

December 15, 2018: This WWII memorial is now erected next to Captain Arsene Hubert Hodge commemorative plaque, still on the wharf. We changed the coordinates and photos.
