Viktoria-Gymnasium is a monument since 11/23/1989.
The grammar school is situated near the city centre of Essen.
It was built 1914-1915 by the architect Albert Erbe (* 9. September 1868 in Weilburg; † 29. Mai 1922 in Essen).
In World War II the school was badly damaged and it took several years to rebuild it.
In the facade of the building you can find this beautiful clock with golden numbers and hands.
