USDOI '6 DKT 1984' Triangulation Station - Klamath County, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this U.S. Department of Interior triangulation station from 1984 in good condition. This station is not listed in the NGS database and was recovered by seeing it listed on a topography map as 'BM 4911'. This mark is an aluminum 3.5" disk monumented on top of a low lying lava rock, about 40 feet East/SE of a telephone pole, about 12 feet west of a small juniper tree. The disk contains the stamping of '6 DKT 1984'. There is a metal witness post just west of the station for easier recovery.
