I recovered this U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management cadastral survey cap from 1965 in good condition. This marker is a 3.5" brass cap mounted on a steel post projecting 12 inches from the ground. The cap is surround by some lava rock and a couple of wooden witness posts. The cap is located about 35 feet east of a dirt and gravel road which leads to Gerber North Campground and is not listed in the NGS database. This road can be accessed by traveling north from the Gerber Dam Rd.

My posted coordinates will place you very close to this survey mark.
