I recovered this survey cap from 1984 in good condition. The mark is a 3 1/4" aluminum cap mounted on a steel post projecting 6 inches above the ground. There is a metal witness post near its base and a few witness trees with small yellow placards on their trunks to aid in recovery. From the stamping on the cap face, this 1/4 section corner marks the point defining Section 21 in Township 39 South, Range 13 East. The cap has the designation stamping of 'PLS 820' along with the year '1984'.

To reach this survey mark if you're heading East on Gerber Rd, take a right onto a dirt track road leading SE and travel about .1 mile. From there, walk about 50 feet SW to the station.
