The ramp is immediately west of a large wooden trestle road bridge at the little community of Pritchard. To get to it one must head north from the Trans Canada on Pinantan Road and cross the bridge. The ramp is on the north bank of the South Thompson River, here a good sized fishing and recreational river.

There is no fee for use and there is also a small (also free, we'd say) campground just west of the boat ramp. The ramp is a simple gravel ramp running down the bank and into the river. There's no dock to tie up but there is parking available by the ramp.
