"Briarbank Brewing Company – housed in a building to the rear of the Isaac’s site was previously, actually, a bank! But the Isaacs’ complex is mostly a conversion of the very old Isaac Lord’s Warehouse, with a history that goes back around 700 years - previously a maltings and therefore long associated with the business of brewing ales and beers in Ipswich.
Tours are run of the restored Malting Machinery Room - with its equipment in full working order, and now tours of the brewery are held regularly, finishing in the tasting room, where our wide selection of beers can be sampled."
