The village of Chase, on the western end of the Shuswap recreational area and the houseboat capital of Canada, is becoming a bit of a retirement community. This means that the Creekside Seniors Centre sees a bit more use each year. The centre is called the Creekside Seniors Centre as it is on Shuswap Avenue adjacent to Chase Creek, which flows through the village before emptying into the South Thompson River.
