This War Memorial is located on Manse Road in Hadley, Telford, Shropshire. The War Memorial is Grade II Listed (Date Listed: 16 January 2008 ; English Heritage Building ID: 493507)

It is accessed via entrance gates to an elevated, fenced and paved area with garden. The Aberdeen granite obelisk is around 12ft high with incised and painted lettering with the names of those who died in both World Wars. The architect is unknown. The Cenotaph is raised on two stone steps and a concave chamfered plinth. The memorial is in a minimal style with a strong vertical emphasis expressed through the sharply ridged corners. The memorial was unveiled in 1953 by Colonel H B Sankey; the committee to raise funds for the memorial having been formed in 1919. Proceeds from the local 1951 Festival of Britain celebrations were also donated to the memorial committee.

Inscription: THESE DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE FROM HADLEY AND DISTRICT WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
