Davenport was established on Sept 22 1891. The Land Run, Old Trails, the Mother Road, & Davenport, Oklahoma, are now fused together in history. The Town makes the most of its past, with large murals, & many references to Route 66.

There are eight Davenport's in the USA & several in other countries. This is Davenport, Oklahoma. Home to Historic Route 66, the Mother Road runs through downtown Davenport in Lincoln County, Oklahoma.

There are two Iconic Route 66 vintage gas stations in Davenport.
