Die Skulpturengruppe "Fußball ohne Grenzen" von der Künstlerin Christel Lechner befindet sich in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes am Fußweg zum Betzenberg. Dargestellt sind Spielerfiguren mit Trikots verschiedener Nationen. Aufgestellt wurde die Skulpturengruppe 2006 als Kaiserslautern einer der zwölf Spielorte der Fußball WM war.
This group of sculptures called "soccer without borders" was made by the artist Christel Lechner. It is located near the main station on the footpath to the stadium. There are several soccer players from different nations. The sculptures remind of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football world championship tournament. It was held from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany. Kaiserslautern was one of the twelve locations which were selected to host the World Cup matches.
