The chapel was built in 1712-1714 at the northern wall of Jesuit estate and replaced in prayers delapidated adjacent Romanesque St. Mary Magdalene church. After reconstruction of St. Mary Magdalene (1867) it was purchased by Prední Kopanina municipality and served as a morgue (and later as a columbarium). Chapel was completely reconstructed in 2012 for cultural use.
