Hempstead Cemetery was established in the mid 1850's; it is the main burial ground of Hempstead, the County Seat of Waller County, Texas. It contains approximately 3,000 graves and a large collection of historic tombstones.

Fritz Keuneke's headstone monument bears the standard WOW seal at the crest; his inscription reads:

MAY 28, 1911.
