In 1398 in the village center left Eusebius von Wallenstein built a wooden church. During the Hussite wars the church was destroyed. Later, in r. 1490, owner Jirí village of Wallenstein here built a new church, this time with a stone belfry.

In 1398 in the village center left Eusebius von Wallenstein built a wooden church. During the Hussite wars the church was destroyed. Later, in r. 1490, owner Jirí village of Wallenstein here built a new church, this time with a stone belfry. In 1857 began the reconstruction of the old church and 21 September of the same year laid the foundation for the construction of the present church, which was consecrated on October 2, 1860. Inside the church on the right wall is a white marble plate with four figures by pediatric and Christ on the cross, with Czech inscription: "V r. 1597 before this altar dead flesh of your sons and daughters, Mr. Johann Blediny, an official Štepanice estate, in the silence of the coming of the Lord."
