This is one of the few rest areas in the area between Osoyoos and Princeton, along the Crowsnest Highway, Highway 3.

This rest area, on the south side of the highway, has a large parking area, making it popular with truckers. There are shaded parking spots at the east end of the parking area. It is about three kilometres west of the fruit stand town of Keremeos and is beside the Similkimeen River. It has a couple of pit toilets and a line of picnic tables.
