This Victorian Post Box is located on Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. It sits proudly outside the Shrewsbury Abbey.
Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
The Post Box is situated on Abbey Foregate outside the Shrewsbury Abbey. The adjacent road has numerous English Listed Buildings which are now home to a selection of small businesses and restaurants. The headquarters of the Shropshire Wildlife Trust are situated over the road from the Post Box. It is a beautiful location, but is prone to flooding when the River Severn bursts its banks.
