The IKEA Heerlen is one of the largest IKEA in The Netherlands next to Stores in Groningen and Zwolle.
In October 1994 this facility in Heerlen opened its doors. It was 9000 square meters and they had 80 Employees working for them. In 2008 this facility in Heerlen expanded from 9000 square meters to more than 37,000 square meters and was back then the biggest IKEA of the Benelux. In 2014 IKEA Heerlen had over 400 Employees and 12 of them started to work here in October 1994.
IKEA Heerlen is therefore a paradise to get living and leisure inspiration. In addition to the store, IKEA Heerlen also has a large playground for children. As a parent, you can go shopping while children are playing in the playground (under supervision).
