Most visitors to the park are drawn to the massive AT&SF Steam Locomotive 3759 & Caboose, both on display in the eastern end of this narrow park. Engine number #3759 was originally owned and operated by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway.
At the other end of the park, where Beale Street and Andy Devine Avenue meet, there are several well presented veteran memorials, Which feature a medallion and pillar to commemorate each of the military services. The Park also displays a stone monument, with several historical plaques. The Locomotive roadside attraction, & the Veteran memorials, & historical markers are well worth a visit.
The Park & the Steam locomotive are listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
