The original FindAGrave record for Ruth has no other information than her birth and death dates. But a "flower memorial" contributor provides much more information. Ruth Weaver was born on 1 April 1914 in Washington, DC, where she was educated. For a while she was the secretary for the solicitor general at the Department of Justice. The obituary is noticeably silent concerning her marriage and her husband.

In 2010 she moved from Silver Spring, Maryland to Shell Knob, Missouri, where she attended the Central Community United Methodist Church. Her life revolved around church activities and singing in the choir. She died on 18 July 2014 at about 101½ years old.
