The Nedlands Memorial was erected to commemorate soldiers from the Nedlands District who fell in the Great War. The Memorial is an octagonal obelisk of dressed Donnybrook stone blocks and is surmounted by a working octagonal bronze lantern glazed obscure glass panel.
The inscription on the front reads :-

OF THE FALLEN
1914-18
DUTY NOBLY DONE
