The mining town of Goodsprings was established around 1900. After the discovery of gold, lead, silver, copper and zinc deposits, mining interests from Salt Lake City poured large amounts of men, materials, and money into the area. The railroad soon followed and the boom was on.
The current schoolhouse was constructed in 1913. It is in the Colonial Revival style. It has the distinction of being the oldest school in Clark County built as a school and continuously operated as a school.
It received its Landmark designation in 1992. Registration is #92000121.
The school is accessible throughout the year, however prudence indicates avoiding the school during active school hours.
