One of the agriculturally oriented pieces on display is this Big 6 mower, made by International Harvester under the McCormick Deering brand name. Canadian agricultural products of International Harvester were, at the time, manufactured in a plant in Hamilton, Ontario.

International Harvester began producing mowers in 1911, with several models eventually rolling off the assembly lines, including the No. 6 Plain Mower, No. 6 Vertical Lift Mower and Big 6 Mower. Later came the No. 7 line of mowers, followed by the No. 9 line of mowers. In the evolution of mowers, the Big 6 could be considered an intermediate model, between the open gear and fully enclosed gear mowers. This was an important evolutionary step, as tall grass and hay tended to become entangled in the open gears.

This example, though mostly complete, is missing a few parts, most notably the drawbar, which was likely a long wooden drawbar with a double tree for hitching a team of horses.
