Le pont de Térénez enjambe l'Aulne entre Argol et Rosnoën.
Le pont remplace celui construit en 1952 qui sera ensuite détruit.
Le chantier a débuté le 19 avril 2007. Les boîtes d'ancrage des haubans, au sommet des piliers, ont été respectivement hissées le 7 juillet 2009 en rive gauche (côté Argol sur la presqu'île) et le 13 janvier 2010 en rive droite (côté Rosnoën). La première moitié de la structure, à partir du pilier rive gauche, a été achevée fin mars 2010 et l'ensemble de la structure, reliant les deux rives, fin août 2010.
L'inauguration a eu lieu le week-end des 16 et 17 avril 2011
Ce magnifique ouvrage d'art a ensuite été ouvert définitivement à la circulation ce même jour aux alentours de 23 h. Il est le premier pont courbe à haubans de France, de 515 m de portée dont 285 m pour la travée centrale. L'ouvrage a été conçu par l'architecte Charles Lavigne et l'ingénieur Michel Virlogeux. Thomas Lavigne et Christophe Cheron ont assuré le suivi architectural de l'ouvrage pendant le chantier. C'est une première mondiale, jamais un pont à haubans de forme circulaire n'avait été construit5. L'ouvrage est récompensé en 2013 par le World Infrastructure Award et en 2014 par le prix du plus bel ouvrage d’art remis par la Fédération international du béton. Il détient le record du monde de portance en courbe et sans support.
The bridge spans the Térénez Alder between Argol and Rosnoën.
The bridge replaces one built in 1952 which will then be destroyed.
Construction began on 19 April 2007. The anchor boxes stays at the top of the pillars, respectively, were hoisted 7 July 2009 on the left bank (Argol side on the peninsula) and 13 January 2010 on the right bank (Rosnoën side). The first half of the structure, from the pillar left bank, was completed in late March 2010 and the entire structure, connecting the two banks in late August 2010.
The inauguration took place on the weekend of 16 and 17 April 2011
This magnificent work of art was then finally opened to traffic on the same day at around 23 pm. It is the first cable-stayed bridge curve France, 515 m range including 285 m for the central span. The book was designed by architect Charles Lavigne and engineer Michel Virlogeux. Thomas and Christophe Lavigne Cheron ensured the architectural monitoring of the dam during construction. This is a world first, never a circular cable-stayed bridge had been construit5. The work was rewarded in 2013 by the World Infrastructure Award and in 2014 the price of the most beautiful work of art presented by the International Federation for Structural Concrete. He holds the world record lift curve and without support.
