What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found four ponderosa pines with healed blazes, some with yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse side. In addition, 3' S is an orange Carsonite witness post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present section corner bears S0.8°E from T16S R9E S13 24 R10E S18 19 COR (WAYMARK WMNB4J), 5266' distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land E of the corner is a part of Skyline Forest, presently owned by Fidelity National Timber; else Deschutes National Forest. See also Oregon Corner Restoration Record, Index File No. 0316, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
