Today, the pub signage is still there but the windows have signs saying it is "Cafe Bistro" and signs on the pavement indicate that food is for sale and that the only drinks available are hot ones!

The year is displayed above the first floor building at the corner of the building at the junction between Black Prince Road and Vauxhall Walk. The year looks as though it is inscribed into terracotta.
