The bird hide can be accessed by walking from either the Terralong Street or Glenbrook Drive entrances to the wetland. The latter is the closest & it would be about 250 metres distance on a dirt track. The entrances are well sign posted.
The bird hide is close to an expanse of water which drains into the ocean at Bombo Beach. You may see cormorants, chicks, moorhens, coots, swans, wrens and a variety of ducks. Ducks were the main species I saw today.
