Nur wenige Meter vom Parkplatz entfernt findet sich das Schild für die offizielle Niddaquelle (siehe Foto). Dem Bach kann man aber noch ein paar weitere Meter folgen.
Die Nidda ist ca. 90 km lang und endet bei Frankfurt Höchst in den Main. Über die gesamte Strecke gibt es einen Radweg - meist immer in Flussnähe. (visit link)

Just a few meter from the parking place away is the official sign for the origin of the river Nidda. You may follow the stream for a few additional meter.
The river Nidda is approx 90 km long and has its destination in Frankfurt Höchst where it flows into the river Main. There is a bicycle path from origin to destination - mostly directly along the river.
