The place in front of the railway station of Colmar is dominated by a large fountain.

This fountain is located right in front of the railway station of Colmar.
It consists of four basins, the two outer ones semicircular, the inner ones rectangular. There is a path through the middle that separated the two halves. The stone edges of the fountain are popular to sit on. There are some fountain jets in side two of the basins, but they seem to be in action only irregularly. The whole structure has a length of about 40 meters.
