At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street, which becomes FR16 in 0.4 miles. From the intersection, continue generally S for 5.9 miles. Turn left onto the new alignment of FR1610 and continue about 1.0 miles. Turn left on the extension of FR1620-150 and continue 0.6 miles to an unmarked intersection. Turn left and continue 0.4 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" aluminum cap on rebar; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 340' S from the road in the Rooster Rock burn scar. Can recognize four burned snags (one on the ground), most with a BEARING TREE yellow tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign. Some of the aluminum signs melted in the burn.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land S of the corner is a part of Skyline Forest, presently owned by Fidelity National Timber; else private property. See also Oregon Corner Restoration Record, Index File No. 0988, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
