The brigade was formed in 1946 & responds to bush & building fires as well as motor vehicle accidents on rural roads & the adjacent Hume Motorway. It conducts hazard reductions (controlled burns) throughout the cooler months.
A photograph on their website shows six vehicles ranging from four wheel drives to pumpers. One is kept at a shed in South Marulan.
