St.Joseph catholic school was built in 1921. It had 8 classrooms around the exterior walls with a 400 seat auditorium in the center. I don't have a closing date, but a new Catholic school was built next to Regina Coeli Catholic Church in the 1970's. In 2000 the building was renovated and became the Alliance Neighborhood Center.
