This camp was located in Oude Willem, a few kilometers from the village of Diever. The camp consisted of wooden barracks on two sides of the property with a lawn in the middle, the property cook manager, the kitchen, the laundry room and a canteen.
During the occupation years 1940-1945 the camps were used for German interests. For example, here in 1942, Jewish men set to work to be then transferred to the transit camp Westerbork. In the last years of the war evacuees were housed here that because of war or conditions had to leave their hometown. After the war, people here put fixed because they were suspected of having collaborated with the occupying forces, pending their trial.
On July 20, 1942 a part of Diever A was emptied. The convicts were sent to Camp Westerbork. Their place was taken by a group of older men of forty to sixty years, which were not called until then. On October 2, they would also be controlled with the remaining original group walking to Camp Westerbork.
