This plaque is dedicated to Croxton's Brigade, commanded by Brig. Gen. John T. Croxton in recognition of their service during the Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. The plaque describes the action on Sept. 19, 1863 at 2 P.M. This is one of seven plaques to Croxton's Brigade on the battlefield.

To reach this monument:
From the parking area on Reed’s Bridge Road, follow the path south to the marker. Pass the table for Strahl's Brigade (CSA). The path will fork, continue straight (south) along the same path. This path will dead end in to a path running east – west. Alexander’s Bridge and Battleline Roads will be to the west.
