This octogonal baptismal font is located near the entrance inside St Peter's Church in Queenstown.
St Peter's Church, which seats approx 130, contains some beautiful items of furniture, the most noteworthy being the carved eagle lectern, the work of a Chinese man named Ah Tong, given in 1874. The two stained glass windows complement the building.
The church has a Category 2 listing from Heritage New Zealand since 24th November 1983.
