Not much, if anything, is known about this two story brick building beyond the observations that it is presently the home of the "Mining Company Saloon & Casino" and is a contributing building to the Anaconda Commercial Historic District. Built in 1916, it is a relative latecomer in the historic district and is built of brick rather darker than the norm, with little ornamentation. Several buildings in Anaconda were made of used fire brick from the smelter and this could be one of those. The name, "Imperial", appears high on the façade, at the cornice, within a square parapet outlined in brick.
