CAIXA DO TEMPO

This Time Capsule (Caixa do Tempo) is placed in the garden next to the City Hall of Matosinhos.
The time capsule was placed by the City Hall in 2010 to celebrate the Dia da Europa (Day of Europe) and inside it has about a thousand messages from schools and local institutions on the theme "What Europe we will have in 25 years. The time capsule is to be opened is in 2035.

Caixa do Tempo Que Europa vamos ter daqui a 25 anos? No dia 9 de Maio de 2010, no âmbito das comemorações do Dia da Europa, Matosinhos ousou "desenhar o futuro" e respondeu, através de diferentes vozes, a esta questão. Matosinhos respondeu com sonhos, com pensamentos e com expectativas. Matosinhos respondeu com mensagens de paz e esperança que foram seladas numa caixa do tempo, colocada junto a esta oliveira.
