This binocular is located east of the cathedral of Breisach, that resides on a rocky hill above the city. From here you have great view over the eastern and southern parts of town. In the south you see Eckardsberg with the castle ruin and vineyards. In the west there is the Black Forest. On clear days you can see some mountains of the Swiss Jura and even the Swiss Alps in the far south.
There is another binocular on the west side of the cathedral that offers a view over the Rhine into France and the Vosges Mountains.
