Cut benchmark and 1GL bolt on right hand side of arch, on the north face of the church tower.

"The W. tower of this church, which is known to have been complete by 1520, was credited by Dr. John Harvey to the great John Wastell (fl. 1485 - d. 1515), master mason from 1509 at King's College Chapel."
