Two identical clocks are mounted on a building that fronts the north side of Creek Road in Greenwich. The building is a bar called "The Gate Clock". One clock overhangs Creek Road and the other is around the corner near the DLR station entrance.

Both clocks are identical and are barrel-shaped with a face at each end of the "barrel" that is coloured black. The clock face is white and translucent so that they can be back-lit at night. The markings are pressed from a single sheet of material, probably plastic, and are coloured black. The hour marks are Roman numerals. The hands are a basic simple design with short tails and they too are coloured black.

The clocks are modern and have probably only been fitted to the building since the turn of the millennium.
