A recent opening in La Prairie, it sort of replaced the one that had a fire and forced its closing a few years ago in Brossard, about 2 miles down on boulevard Taschereau.
This one has lots of seating and a drive-thru. I did not notice any advertised specials for specific days during my last visit but there were a few poster offering a classic combo breakfast for 5$ or 2 Teen Burgers for 6$.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week from 7am til midnight.
Any old memories or additional comments?: A&W Root Beer is primarily available in the USA and Canada, started in 1919 by Roy W. Allen. In 1922, Allen partnered with Frank Wright, their initials became A&W and inspired a restaurant chain founded in 1922. A&W root beer drinks sold for five cents.
What is your favourite at A&W ?: Papa Burger is all right and I love the root beer served in the frosted mug
