The clock has a black background with the hours and minute marks, that are pressed from a single sheet of metal, coloured gold. Three rings hold the parts together with the outer ring being thicker that the other two. The minute marks are held between the centre and outer ring and the hour marks between the centre and inner rings. The hour marks are Roman numerals. The hands, that are also coloured gold, are of a simple design.
