There is no biographical information in Mr. Lasiter's FindAGrave
entry, nor can any be found with an extensive web search. There are 5 other Lasiter family members buried here, from 1870 to 1939. The headstone for A. Lasiter states that he lived 105 years and died on 25 August 1899. We can then assume that he was born either after August 1793 or earlier than August in 1794.
If he was born in 1794, that was the year that Eli Whitney received a patent for the Cotton Gin; the US Senate convened for the first time; and President Washington mobilized militia to put down the Whiskey Rebellion in Pennsylvania.
The year that A. Lasiter died was when the Second Boer War broke out; and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) was found to be a pain reliever.
