The Adamsburg & Community Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1951 and provides fire, rescue, and first responder emergency medical services to the citizens of Hempfield Township, Adamsburg Borough, and Arona Borough.

The Adamsburg & Community Volunteer Fire Departmentis one of twelve fire companies in Hempfield Township. A.C.V.F.D. is currently equipped with 1 Quint, 1 Engine, and 1 Certified Advanced Rescue.
