A permanent granite roadside memorial dedicated to Rev. Larry Steven Nix at the intersection of Hollywood Road and Hickory Grove Road overlooking a cow pasture. It is in the form of a cross that a lighthouse craved into the stone. There is no mention of who placed this memorial stone.
Rev. Larry Steven Nix was a pastor of Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church near Saluda, SC when he was involved in a car crash near this spot in 2004 that took his life.
