This cut mark is on the parapet of stone of bridge 134 that carries Barden Lane over the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The cut mark is next to the footpath

The canal is 127.25 miles long and flows from the inland woollen town of Leeds to the coastal sea port of Liverpool, crossing the Pennines along the way. Work on the canal started in 1770 and built in a number of sections and was finally completed in 1816.
This cut mark is on the north side of the bridge on the 2nd stone up from the pavement and just to the left of the highest part of the bridge.
Unusually the bridge has a second cut mark on the abutment of the south side of the bridge next to the canal towpath, but only this one is listed in the OS website.
