Almost all of the sculptures in Oslo's Frogner Park (there are approximately 150) are by Gustav Vigeland. This is just one of them and is located on the western side of the central bridge at the northern end.
It depicts a lifesized naked man about 55 years old, standing with a young boy, perhap 5 or 6 years-old, riding piggy-back. The DULT figure seems to be based on the same model as some of the other nearby sculptures.
Unfortunately, none of Vigeland's works have placards which inform us of a title for the piece...and the poster of this Waymark was unable to find a catologue online. The name of the Waymark will be amended if additional information comes forth indicating the work's true title.
Vigeland constructed the sculptures from 1924 to 1944...but again, there is no information at the site about each individual piece's date.
